Manage VMware using System Center Ops Manager
Virtualization is a key technology for minimizing the overall cost of infrastructure ownership by lowering the number of physical machines required by maximizing the overall utilization of the hardware. By maximizing the load on each ESX Server Host it is possible to reduce the power and cooling requirements, rack space usage as well as storage and network components.
BridgeWays Management Packs for MS System Center Operations Manager are designed to model the complex environments that are a result of virtualization. Through connections to the VMware vCenter Server or individual ESX Server Hosts the management pack is able to automatically discover all of the components that make up virtual environment by using the Virtual Infrastructure 3 (VI3) APIs which practically eliminates the load placed on the systems by the management pack.
With BridgeWays Management Pack for VMware vSphere you can:
- Datacenters
- Clusters
- Hosts
- Resource pools
- Networks
- Datastores
- Virtual Machines
