BridgeWays Releases Cross-Platform Applications Monitoring for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager
New Xandros BridgeWays Management Packs for System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 Enable Single-Console Administration of Business Critical Applications on Windows, Linux, and Unix
NEW YORK – July 14, 2009 – BridgeWays, a division of Xandros, today released a series of management packs that enable system administrators to manage business critical applications on Windows, Linux, and Unix from a single console. The new management packs help extend Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 to additional business applications on Windows and to the 85% of enterprise data centers with cross-platform environments.
The management packs extend System Center capabilities to the management of Oracle Database, MySQL Database, and Apache HTTP Server running on Red Hat Enterprise Server, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Solaris, and Windows. Also released today is a JBoss Application Server management pack for Red Hat, SUSE and Windows. The new management packs join the previously released BridgeWays management pack for VMware ESX/ESXi. The BridgeWays product line, which will continue to expand, was developed under the broad technology and business collaboration agreement between Microsoft and Xandros.
